The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Detection Technician - Service Technician to join our growing team in Brisbane.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the routine testing, inspection, servicing, and minor maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
This position plays a key role in ensuring our clients' fire detection systems remain compliant, operational, and maintained to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing
Performing scheduled testing and inspection of fire detection, EWIS,



and occupant warning systemsIdentifying and reporting faults or non-compliancesCompleting service reports and compliance documentation accurately and on timeSupporting minor repairs and assisting with system troubleshootingCommunicating effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth service deliveryWorking independently across various client sites throughout QueenslandMaintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and professionalism on site
Your Skills, Experience & Attributes
QBCC Licence - Electrical Stream - Install and Maintain Fire Alarm SystemsPortables Stream licence highly regarded, though training can be providedCurrent Construction Blue/White CardCurrent driver's licenceAbility to obtain a Blue CardAbility to maintain required vaccinations for site accessPrevious experience in fire detection system testingSound knowledge of relevant Australian StandardsStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage your schedule effectivelyPositive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethicFull working rights in Australia (essential)
