Carers NSW is the peak organisation for carers in NSW.
We advocate for carers' rights, provide information and support services, and work to raise awareness of the vital contribution carers make to our community.

We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive workplace where our team can thrive whilst making a positive impact on the lives of carers and their families.As the Project & Events Coordinator your role will be to support the planning, coordination and delivery of Carers Week events and activities across Region 4 NSW (Central Coast, Hunter New England and North Coast) that recognise, celebrate and support carers while increasing community awareness of their contributions and available support services.This is a temporary contract for 2 days per week until 31 October ****.What you'll be doing:Plan and coordinate Carers Week events and activities across Region 4 NSW (Central Coast, Hunter New England and North Coast)Coordinate event logistics including venues, risk assessments, carer registrations, communications and resourcesLiaising with internal stakeholders, carers, community partners and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth event deliveryPromoting events through various marketing channels and managing attendance registrations and communicationsCreate event and promotional materialSupport event promotion,
participant engagement and post-event evaluationLeverage digital technologies and online platforms to enhance project delivery, stakeholder engagement and participation outcomesContribute innovative ideas and creative solutions to strengthen carer engagement, participation and impactAssist with digital content coordinationProvide technical support and troubleshoot technology related issues during events and project activities as requiredOur ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:Strong event management and organisational skillsStrong project coordination skills with a creative mindsetExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesExperience using technology including CRM, and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience coordinating community eventsDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and a flexible, adaptable approach to challengesAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesExperience using CANVA or other design tools, would be desirableTo learn more about what we do, please visit our website RequirementsSatisfactory Police CheckCurrent Working with Childrens CheckRights to live and work in AustraliaWhat we offerThe Salary is approx.
$35K per annum + super for 2 days per week.
