Unaccredited Trainee - Orthopaedics - Maitland HospitalEmployment Type:TemporaryFull TimeRemuneration: $117,745K - $147,664KHours Per Week:38Requisition ID:CAM*****Build your pathway to Orthopaedic SET with Hunter New England LHDMaitland Hospital is seeking motivated and career-focused unaccredited trainees to join our Orthopaedic Surgery team.This role is ideal for doctors intending to pursue Orthopaedic SET training, offering the clinical exposure, mentorship and portfolio development needed to progress to the next stage of your surgical career.What you'll be doingDeliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary orthopaedic teamActively participate in operating theatre, fracture clinic, and acute orthopaedic careDevelop core orthopaedic knowledge and early procedural capabilityContribute to audit, teaching, and quality improvement activitiesWork under close supervision with regular feedback from consultants and senior traineesSET-focused opportunitiesMeaningful theatre exposure with opportunities to assist and build technical confidenceAccess to engaged consultants who support trainees progressing to SETOpportunities to secure strong clinical refereesParticipation in audit and quality improvement projects aligned with RACS CV domainsInvolvement in teaching and departmental education sessionsExperience that supports development of a competitive SET application portfolioWhat we can offer youA supportive and inclusive team with a strong focus on education,
