About the roleThis vacancy is for a Forklift Driver to join our Operations in Karawatha on Brisbane's South Side.
This is a Full time, Permanent role, 2pm starts Monday to Friday.
Overtime will be offered on a need by need basis.
The successful applicant will be rostered on our PM Shift and be eligible for a Shift Allowance (17.5% Shift Allowance).
Unload and load vehicles and sort them appropriately and safelyScanning freight, freight sortation and re-palletising of freightPicking and preparing runs for the following dayPalletizing freight for travel where requiredEnsuring the correct movement and distribution of freight in a timely mannerCarrying out all duties within set time frames and following instructions closelyIdentifying damages and reporting in accordance with site processEnsuring compliance and safety is always adhered toMust have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistentlyFollow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processesRestraining loads safely and using straps where requiredWhat you'll bringYou will hold a Current & Valid Forklift License (Mandatory)You will be able to work as part of a teamYou will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously where requiredYou must have Full Rights to work in AustraliaYou will have a high attention towards SafetyAbout TeamGlobal Express Team Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
