We are looking for an experienced Cafe/Restaurant Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.This role will be hands on and will entail, monitoring the staff service delivery, budgeting and rostering and making sure that the food display is appealing and appetizing.Ultimately, you will help increase profitability and boost customer engagement for the café you are managing.ResponsibilitiesManage, lead, motivate and train the FOH staff to deliver excellent customer serviceManage labour costs by effective rosteringBe the face of the business at all times and act in a respectful manner to staff and customersAddress customer complaints in a skilled manner and resolve immediately to maintain company reputationAssist the Head Chef on concentrating on repetitive business/customers by implementing special promotions etc.Ensure staff keep the cafe cleaned to a high standardOrganise daily opening and closing and ensure security procedures are in placeRequirements and skillsHave worked at least 3 years previously as a Cafe/Restaurant ManagerProven leadership experience with creativity and imaginationAdept with the food and beverage industryExcellent communication skills as well as fluency in EnglishAbility to multi-task and remain calm when busy or under pressureHigh level attention to detailStrong initiative and ability to think and act promptlyFull vaccination is required for this role.
