Findstaff are seeking Glass furnace operators/All-rounders to join our clients factory in Smithfield NSW.
Our client currently has openings across day shift and evening shift, if you have relevant experience in the Glass or a similar manufacturing environment this is your chance to join a market leader.
Working in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace, you will be responsible for processing glass to specification across Various stages of the production process all the way through to packing and dispatching the finished product.This position will initially start as a casual position with the chance for permanent employment after a trial period.
Shift Patterns:Monday to Friday full 38 hour working weeks.
Days:****am to 3pm
Evenings:2pm to 10pm
Remuneration starts at $34 plus loading and overtime when applicable.Role responsibilities
Glass cutting, handling, and processing.
Operating production machinery (cutting lines, furnace, IGU line)
Manual handling, loading unloading, moving the product throughout the factory.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail - Quality control
Working as part of a team to ensure maximum quality and output.
Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

To be successful you will need the following:
Experience working in the glass sector is a must.
Must have full working rights within Australia.
(this Opportunity may lead to full time employment)
willing and able to work a full 38 hour week.
Own transport - Limited public transport options.
Safety conscious and the ability to adhere to WH&S; policies and procedures
Eye for detail & pride in your workmanship.
Comfortable working with machinery and production processes.
Reliable, punctual, not afraid of hard work.
Good communication skills.
A reasonable level of skill using a computer or iPad.
