The company, part of the Legrand international group, has a national presence with production centered in Sydney's Sutherland Shire.BriefThe role will be based in our Caringbah plant, maintaining our pipe plant extrusion tooling and injection moulds to a high standard.
This involves all aspects of extrusion machine service, including removal and dismantling extruders, using a wide range of toolroom equipment such as lathes and power metal polishing equipment to restore the required surface finishes of the extrusion machine components.The role requires a person who is physically fit who can work autonomously and as part of a team.

Flexible work arrangements are also available.About YouMinimum two years of demonstrated experience as a toolmaker or mechanical fitter or advanced machine operator role within a manufacturing or production facility.A relevant trade or engineering qualification is essential.Strong organisational and planning skills.Experience operating lathes, polishers, power hand tools, overhead cranesAptitude for problem solving.Commitment to excellent WHS standards and practice.RemunerationThe role is a full-time position offering competitive base and penalty rates for all shifts.
