and statutory reportingManage direct and indirect tax calculations, lodgements, and ongoing obligationsLiaise with the ATO and relevant regulatory bodies on compliance mattersSupport audit processes, financial planning, and governance initiativesOversee payroll processing and ensure all associated reporting and compliance requirements are metPartner with internal stakeholders and external advisors to provide accurate financial and tax guidanceTo be considered, you will bring:CA or CPA qualification (essential)Experience in a tax, compliance, or financial accounting roleStrong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and statutory reporting requirementsExperience with ERP systems (SAP highly regarded) and advanced Excel capabilityHigh attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlinesClear communication skills and a cooperative working styleThis role is available for an immediate start, initially as a short-term contract for a few months, with a clear view to converting to a permanent position.
