Through innovative, community-led programs spanning early childhood and youth development, they take a whole-of-life approach from birth through to adulthood.With strong local partnerships and a commitment to cultural strength, their work is grounded in respect, evidence-based practice, and long-term impact.About the RoleThis is an exciting contract opportunity to contribute to the evolution of two flagship programs by strengthening and refining curriculum design and delivery.Working across early childhood and youth-focused programs, you'll partner with Program Directors and Managers to review, develop and implement culturally responsive curriculum and resources that align with national frameworks and community needs.You'll play a key role in shaping practical learning tools and educational content that support improved wellbeing, health outcomes,
and educational engagement for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Development & DesignReview, update and create curriculum resources aligned to program outcomes and national frameworksSupport implementation of the Walking Learning® framework into practiceDevelop engaging teaching and learning resources for early childhood educatorsHealth, Wellbeing & Education ContentDesign culturally appropriate health, nutrition, and wellbeing resourcesTranslate complex ideas into accessible, engaging and practical formatsAlign content with evidence-based frameworks and program valuesProgram Support & ImplementationSupport curriculum pilot projects, including prevention messaging initiativesContribute to evaluation frameworks and educator self-assessment toolsCollaborate closely with program teams and community stakeholdersStakeholder CollaborationWork alongside program leaders, coaches, and community staffEnsure resources are culturally safe, relevant and community-informedSupport cross-program integration of key educational messagesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor of Education (Early Childhood or Primary), Educational Design, or similarExperience developing or reviewing curriculum aligned to EYLF or Australian CurriculumStrong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and contextsKnowledge of early childhood pedagogy and community-based education approachesAbility to translate complex concepts into practical, user-friendly resourcesStrong written communication and attention to detailComfortable working both autonomously and collaborativelyRequirements:National Criminal History CheckWorking with Children Check (or equivalent)
