Primo Foods are seeking a Trade Assistant to join the Maintenance/Facilities team in Wacol, Brisbane.
This is a permanent full-time position with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow within the Engineering department.
This role is responsible for efficient and compliant operation of our production facility.This role offers an prospect to choose the roster that works for you:5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday, 7.6 hour shifts4 days a week from Wednesday to Saturday, 9.6 hour shiftsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform general housekeeping of plant, equipment, buildings, structures, and surroundsUndertake preventative tasks for basic maintenance of air filtration equipmentFacility roof space inspections and diagnose root causes of service leaksCommunicate facility issues to the Operations Support Manager/Engineering ManagerMaintaining chemical inventory for cooling towersUndertake compliance activities such as inspecting wall panels, emergency safety showers,



fire hydrant valve rotations etc.What You'll BringAbility to safely use hand and power toolsSound skills in problem solving, diagnostics and systemsProactive and positive attitude with a strong willingness to learnExperience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial wastewater plant environment (preferred)Current Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain (desirable)Why Join Primo?
