We're looking for experienced, caring and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing Brisbane team and support participants with high and complex support needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking people who genuinely care about making a difference and are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Highly Regarded Experience & Attributes
Experience supporting people with high and complex disability support needs
Experience providing enteral (PEG) feeding and other high-intensity health supports
Experience supporting participants with complex behavioural, mental health and disability-related support needs
Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support strategies and working within Positive Behaviour Support Plans
A proactive approach to supporting participants to access their community, build independence and engage in meaningful activities beyond the home
Commitment to promoting choice, dignity, inclusion and cultural respect in every interaction
Experience supporting participants to maintain connections with their culture, faith, community and personal interests,
including church attendance, cultural events, education, volunteering, sporting activities and recreational pursuits
Strong communication, documentation and teamwork skills
Current students or graduates in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Social Work or other Allied Health disciplines are encouraged to apply and will be highly regarded
Experience with hoists, manual handling and complex transfers
Experience driving participants within the community, including use of accessible vehicles
Current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Completion of Queensland Foundations of Child Safety Training, or willingness to complete as part of onboarding
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Current Driver's Licence
First Aid & CPR Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including active nights and sleepovers
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
