Nurse Unit Manager | Ophthalmology | Sunshine Coast, QLDOur client is seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join the team from the outset.
This is a full-time, permanent role within a purpose-built, multidisciplinary setting equipped with three state-of-the-art operating theatres and modern recovery and patient care areas.The facility supports a broad surgical caseload across Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Breast Surgery.The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Scrubbing and scouting across a range of surgical proceduresManaging clinical staff, including rostering and performance appraisalsWriting and reviewing evidence-based policies and proceduresSupporting quality management and ACQSHC National Standards accreditationBuilding and maintaining effective working relationships with VMOs, CURA and industry representativesDriving a culture of safety,
