Moranbah Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join its Mental Health service for an 8-week contract from August ****.
Based at Moranbah Community Health Centre or Mackay with outreach to the Hinterland region, this Grade 6 position offers the opportunity to work across child and youth mental health, adult mental health, acute care, and alcohol and other drugs services.
Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on up to 80 hours per fortnight, the successful candidate will earn between AUD$***** and AUD$***** per hour, with overtime rates applying beyond 80 hours per fortnight.
Work across a diverse mental health service including child and youth, adult, acute care, and AOD teams
AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour, with overtime rates and a structured Monday to Friday roster
8-week contract with flexibility to base yourself in Moranbah or Mackay with regional outreach
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated experience in mental health case management
Competence in completing electrocardiograms (ECGs)
Ability to work effectively across multiple mental health service streams
Robust clinical documentation and communication skills
Flexibility to work in a community health setting with potential outreach requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Experience with mental health case management systems such as CIMHA or ieMR
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act **** and experience working with children, adolescents, or alcohol and other drugs services
