We are values-driven and proud of our reputation for quality and service.We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead our distribution operations across NSW, ensuring all Distribution Centres in the region operate at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction as the primary goal.About the roleReporting to the National Operations Manager, you will lead, coach and support DC Managers across the region, championing operational excellence, continuous improvement and a robust safety culture.
You will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer, Regional Sales Managers, ANZ Continuous Improvement, the Facilities and Fleet Manager, and third-party freight providers.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring the ability to move confidently between all functions, from receiving to dispatch.Key responsibilitiesManage the Sydney DC and regional distribution performance, working with the National Operations Manager and DC Managers to set, measure and meet targetsLead,



coach and mentor our DC employees to maintain and lift operations performanceChampion Tyremax's customer service and operational excellence ethos across the regional teamPartner with Operations Continuous Improvement to implement best practice and systemisation across the regionChampion health and safety, coaching DC Managers, supervisors to drive continuous improvement in safety cultureEnsure DC Managers maintain compliance with all health and safety policies, reporting and training recordsSupport oversight of vendor management for freight, warehouse consumables and contractorsAbout youEnsure that all DC in region meat KPI'sHigh emotional intelligence with strong communication and influencing skillsGreat planning and organisational capability, managing conflicting priorities and stakeholdersGenuine leadership drive to lift performance and progress continuous improvementDemonstrated commitment to safety, with experience managing health and safety effectivelyCustomer-centric, with the ability to work closely with the sales teamConfident across all distribution functions, from receiving to dispatchHands‐on, with experience training, coaching and engaging staffUnderstanding of housekeeping standards, stock integrity and cost-to-serveWorkforce planning experience and willingness to travel across the regionRelevant tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain, or substantial relevant experience; Chain of Responsibility and Continuous Improvement knowledge desirable
