Due to the continued growth at Ballina Toyota and strong customer demand a position has become available for an Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic.ResponsibilitiesProviding expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehiclesTaking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.Diagnose and Repair the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systemsProviding guidance and training to apprentice service techniciansMaintaining a protected working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values.Contribute to building a positive team spirit.RequirementsMust hold a current driver's licence with the ability to drive manual and automatic.Excellent problem solving skills with quality workmanship and an eye for detailPrevious dealership experience will be highly regarded but not essential.Road worthy and air conditioning tickets are desirable
