$***** per hour + SuperMonday to Friday | 6:00am - 3:00pmEvery 2nd Friday off (RDO)Full-time hours on a casual contractOpportunity to transition to permanent employmentWhat you'll be doingYou'll play a key role in maintaining critical water and sewerage infrastructure, including:Maintenance and repair of water pumps, sewerage pumps and sewerage treatment plantsServicing and refurbishing pumps and associated mechanical equipmentPump fault finding and troubleshootingUndertaking electrical maintenance work (within the scope of your Restricted Electrical Work Licence)Supervusing a nominated apprentice on a daily basisAssisting with apprentice training and developmentParticipating in a rostered on-call rotationWorking safely while delivering high-quality workmanshipWhat we're looking forWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner or Mechanical FitterCurrent Restricted Electrical Work LicenceStrong pump fault-finding and refurbishment experienceAbility to work independently and within a teamCommitment to workplace health and safetyExperience in water and sewerage maintenance (highly regarded)Current manual C Class Driver's Licence (essential)HR Driver's Licence (advantageous)Construction Industry White CardBefore you start - Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment functional assessment to ensure they can safely perform the inherent requirements of the role.This is a fantastic chance to secure full-time hours, excellent pay and the chance to move into a permanent position.
