ABOUT THE ROLE
The House Coordinator in Townsville plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our Residential care homes.
This position is essential for ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for Young People.
The House Coordinator will lead a dedicated team, fostering collaboration and promoting the well-being of individuals in our care, while also liaising with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Required Qualifications: Certificate IV Child, Youth, and Family Intervention (Residential Care) or other relevant Certificate IV, Diploma, Degree.
For candidates who do not hold the essential qualification, willingness to obtain and proof of enrolment will be required prior to commencement.
Plus, completion of online Hope and Healing Framework Foundational Training prior to commencement
Key Responsibilities
Provide direction, training, supervision, coordination and support to direct reports
Provide direct support to our young people in care
Induction and orientation of new staff
Development and implementation of schedule and care plan for resident young person in consultation with Caseworkers
Lead and contribute to a positive team culture through regular team and clinical meetings
Ensure houses are maintained in accordance with the Statutory Standards of Care and ensure OCV and OCG compliance is met
