It is an exciting time to be joining Recurrent Energy, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar.
As a technologically driven front-runner, we are a leading manufacturer of solar PV modules and provider of solar energy solutions as well as boasting a diverse pipeline of utility-scale power projects.We operate a growing network of solar farms across Australia and are committed to advancing sustainable power generation.The OpportunityJoin our O&M; team at Gunnedah Solar Farm as our Site Supervisor (Lead Field Technician) on an attractive 4 days on, 3 days off roster.
This hands-on role focuses on operations and maintenance (O&M;), helping ensure the site performs at peak efficiency.We are looking for candidates who live locally or are able to drive in and drive out.What we offer:Total package of up to $127,500 - $132,500 per annum + superBreakdown: $115,000 - $120,000 base salary + $6,250 remote allowance + up to $6,250 performance bonus + superCompany vehicleAdditional overtime and public holiday worked paid at award ratesPreferred roster 4 days on 3 days off.
Will also consider 8 days on, 6 days off roster.




(9.5 hour days + 30 min unpaid break for both rosters)Long term job securityOngoing training and career progression opportunities within a growing companyBe part of Australia's clean energy transitionYour responsibilities as a Site Supervisor (Lead Field Technician) will be:Performing routine maintenance on equipmentDiagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issuesDeveloping standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and trainingOverseeing and supervising sub-contractorsSupervise, engage and mentor staff on siteManage and facilitate people matters with line manager support if requiredTo be successful as our Site Supervisor (Lead Field Technician), you will have:Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and support team members effectivelyThe ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematicsExperience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solarWillingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where requiredSound computer skillsAbility to pass medical, drug, alcohol tests and Police CheckAs this is a long term role, we are only seeking applicants with full Australian working rights.Recurrent Energy is an equal chance employer committed to building a diverse workforce.
