I am currently seeking a Safety Advisor to join a well-established national Tier 2 fit-out and new build construction company.
This is a hybrid role, working between the Brisbane office and roving across SEQ projects.
You will act as the sole safety lead for Queensland, playing a key role in promoting a Safety-First culture by ensuring compliance with current legislation, policies, and procedures from preconstruction through to project completion.
The Role
Provide site-based safety support across fit out and new build projects
Partner closely with project teams, subcontractors, and senior management to drive strong safety outcomes
Conduct site inspections, audits, investigations, and risk assessments
Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training
Assist in maintaining compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures
About You
Demonstrated EHSQ site-based experience within the construction industry
Experience reviewing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)



and Safe Systems of Work
Exposure to fit-out, refurbishment, and new build projects
Strong understanding of WHS legislation and contractor management
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong organisational, time management, and administrative abilities
Able to work autonomously while contributing positively to a wider team
