The Role
Reporting to the CFO, your duties as Financial Accountant will include but are not limited to:
Month-end reporting across 1-3 entities, including journals,



prepayments and budget journals
Reviewing and supporting work completed by the Assistant Accountant
Fortnightly payroll for approximately ***** full time, part-time and casual employees
Balance sheet reconciliations, BAS, FBT and tax preparation support
Supporting the budget process, grant invoicing and audit preparation
Working with Xero to improve reporting accuracy and process discipline
Your Background
To be considered for this Financial Accountant role, you will ideally meet most of the following criteria:
5 years' experience in a Financial Accountant role
Xero experience will be highly regarded
CA or CPA qualification preferred, but not essential
Hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and comfort working in a small finance team
