outputs and outcomesEnsuring the operations team fulfil their individual roles while taking ownership efficiency and profitably over all facets of the operational floor.Reporting to State Manager and working to ensure the best possible outcomes for the business while ensuring a safe environmentJob Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEnsuring staff levels are adequate for the work being completed on any given dayEnsure the efficient loading of trailers to maximize profitabilityEstablish and maintain a safe work environment in line with Protected Work NSW and National safety legislationIdentify and manage areas within the business that are unproductive and manage Labor to fill those gapsEnsure the drivers work hours are managedThe ability to discipline staff when necessaryImplement training and safety initiativesComply with company policies and legal guidelinesSkills and ExperienceStrong transport knowledgeProven leadership & management experienceExperience with freight programsAbility to problem solveStrong communications skillsForklift licence (preferred)Australian citizenship required for this position
