We are seeking a talented Designer to join the team at Genneral Staircase, a leading company in architectural design and drafting of staircase components and assemblies.
This is a full-time position based in Wetherill Park, NSW ****.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating cutting-edge architectural designs and detailed drafting solutions that meet our clients' specifications and exceed their expectations.
You will work on diverse projects, contributing your creative vision and technical expertise to shape the built environment.

Key responsibilities
Develop detailed architectural drawings and designs using industry-standard CAD software and design tools
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive design solutions
Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and construction drawings that are accurate and comply with building codes and industry standards
Conduct site surveys and assessments to inform design decisions and identify potential challenges
Produce 2D and 3D visualisations and renderings to communicate design concepts to stakeholders and clients
Review and revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements
Maintain organised project files and documentation, ensuring all designs are properly archived and accessible
Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architectural design and drafting
Support the design team in meeting project deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of quality
What we are looking for
Qualification in architectural technology, architectural drafting, or a related design discipline
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar industry-standard tools




Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction practices
Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and detailed specifications
Excellent spatial awareness and visualisation skills
Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) is desirable
Portfolio demonstrating previous design and drafting work is welcome
