you will be responsible for:Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and business activity statements across a range of business entitiesAssisting with the management of our client base across a variety of industriesIdentifying compliance concerns and opportunities as they ariseResearching technical matters and helping prepare advice for clientsBuilding your skills and knowledge through hands-on client work and regular mentoringThe successful applicant will haveA degree qualification in accounting or a related field (or be nearing completion)Xero and XPM experience (preferred).
Experience with other cloud-based accounting programs is highly regardedA broad knowledge of Australian tax fundamentalsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and a robust technical focusStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlinesA high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to build client relationshipsEnthusiasm, self-motivation and a genuine desire to learn and grow
