Customer Service Officer – Machinery & Hire SpecialistAs a Customer Service Officer in our Specialised Machinery & Hire team, you'll be the first point of contact for customers requiring heavy vehicle, machinery transport and recovery solutions.
You will be responsible for handling a variety of customer enquiries while delivering a high standard of professionalism and outstanding customer service.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Receive and coordinate enquiries relating to heavy vehicle, machinery and equipment transport and recoveryLiaise with customers, operators, workshops, construction companies, transport businessesCoordinate specialised recovery and transport jobs with our Operations and Despatch teamsBuild robust relationships with repeat commercial customers and equipment hire companiesMaintain accurate records within internal systemsProvide exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced operational environmentAbout you:To be a successful applicant for this role you must be able to demonstrate:Experience in transport, logistics, heavy vehicle, civil construction, plant hire or earthmoving industries would be desirableAn understanding of trucks, trailers, heavy vehicles or machineryPrevious experience in scheduling,
