Registered Nurse/Occupational Health Assessor

The Role
An opportunity has presented through growth for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the Jem Health team as a Registered Nurse/Occupational Health Assessor (OHA) on a permanent part-time (or full time) basis, for immediate start.
Your role will be to provide exceptional service, consistent quality and attention to detail in the delivery of employment-related health assessments and occupational health initiatives.
This role is anticipated to be offered at a part-time or full-time capacity (4-5 days per week), and will be based at our Sydney clinic.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Occupational Health Assessments including pre-employment medicals, audiometry, spirometry, ECGs, drug screening, functional capacity assessments and fitness testing.Timely and accurate reportingHigh level compliance and observation of privacy actWorker health checksGeneral administrationMonitoring and maintaining stock levels & equipmentHealth and wellness projects, initiatives, training and promotionContribute to client relationship management, continuous improvement and business growth initiativesCommitment and compliance to strong safety culture
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
Bachelor degree in Health Science (Nursing)
or similar health disciplineHigh interest in occupational healthRegistration/accreditation with AHPRACurrent and maintained First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain/renew)Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build rapportIntermediate to strong computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and using two screensAdvanced written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to learn and growHigh level of professionalismA very high level of care and attention to detailExceptional time management, organisational skills and ability to work autonomously and as a teamHigh level of emotional intelligenceDesirable but not essential CriteriaExperience/exposure to Occupational HealthCertificate IV or Diploma in WHSExperience or Qualification in AudiometryExperience or Qualification in SpirometryExperience or Qualification in Drug and Alcohol ScreeningValid Drivers Licence

The Recruitment Process
