Bookings Consultant - NSW | Acute & Theartre NursingFull time3d ago , from Illawarra Mercury Job BoardAbout The RoleLumia Care is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Bookings Consultant to join our Nursing Workforce team.In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of nursing staff across acute hospital and perioperative (theatre) environments.
You will work closely with hospitals, nurses, and internal teams to ensure shifts are filled quickly and efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards.This is an excellent chance for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about supporting healthcare services.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and fill acute and theatre nursing shifts dailyManage urgent staffing requests from hospitals and healthcare facilitiesMatch appropriately skilled nurses to shift requirementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and clinical staffMonitor workforce availability and proactively fill upcoming vacanciesEnsure all bookings meet compliance and credentialing requirementsHandle roster changes, cancellations, and last-minute shift requestsMaintain accurate records within rostering and recruitment systemsWork collaboratively with recruitment and workforce teams to maximise fill ratesTo Be Successful In This Role,
