Indigeco is recruiting a Project Manager (Non ICT) for our NSW Government client to support a regional infrastructure program across the North Coast in Lismore.
This is a 12 month contract.The role will support the planning and delivery of lower complexity infrastructure projects, working closely with more experienced project managers, clients and internal stakeholders to ensure time, cost, quality, safety and environmental requirements are met.ABOUT THE COMPANYOur client is an NSW Government agency supporting regional infrastructure, planning and environmental outcomes.This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful project delivery across North Coast communities while working in a structured, collaborative and service focused environment.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and deliver assigned low complexity infrastructure projects in line with organisational procedures, seeking guidance from senior project managers where requiredParticipate in planning sessions and complete project tasks that contribute to successful infrastructure planning and delivery outcomesAttend and contribute to project meetings, team discussions and forums to monitor progress, resolve issues and support achievement of project targetsDevelop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, government policies and regulations to provide informed asset and project adviceRespond accurately and professionally to client enquiries and requests,
ensuring tasks are delivered to best practice standards and client requirementsAssist with business development activities including fee proposals, client meetings and identifying opportunities for repeat or current businessIdentify process improvement opportunities, capture lessons learned and contribute to improved project and business performanceYOUR REQUIREMENTSAppropriate trade, post-trade or tertiary qualifications, or equivalent experience in contract administration, project management, architecture, building, construction or engineeringExperience supporting infrastructure, construction, building, asset or regional project deliveryWell-developed understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation, regulations and safe work practicesAbility to manage competing priorities, support multiple project tasks and work within time, cost and quality expectationsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a client focused and responsive approachCurrent valid NSW driver licence and willingness to drive to regional or remote locations, including overnight stays where requiredAvailability to work principally from the workplace in Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie or Lismore, 7 hours per day and 35 hours per weekYOUR PERKSHourly payrate of $***** per hour + super12-month contract opportunityContribute to regional infrastructure outcomes across the NSW North CoastWork with experienced project managers and government stakeholdersOpportunity to build project management experience in a public sector environment
