We're looking for a mechanically minded Trades Assistant to join our Fleet team in Hendra.
Supporting a fleet of 400+ vehicles, plant and equipment, you'll play a key role in preparing vehicles, fitting accessories, assisting with repairs, and keeping our fleet ready for the road.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a genuine interest in vehicles, and wants a stable, long-term role in a busy workshop workplace.What You'll Be DoingNo two days are exactly the same, but your work may include:Fitting roof racks,



toolboxes and vehicle accessoriesInstalling beacons and carrying out basic wiring tasksAssisting Mechanics with vehicle repairs and maintenanceCompleting minor modifications and vehicle fit-outsPreparing vehicles and equipment for deploymentSupporting workshop and storage area operationsWorking independently once trained and confident in your tasksWhat We're Looking ForYou don't need to be a qualified mechanic, but you'll be someone who enjoys working on vehicles and isn't afraid to pick up the tools.You'll bring:A strong mechanical aptitude and practical mindsetExperience using hand and power toolsAn interest in vehicles, machinery or equipmentA current unrestricted manual driver's licenceThe ability to work independently and take initiativeA reliable, hands-on approach to workDesirable but not essential:MR or HR licenceWhy Join CV Services?
