On behalf of our client, we are looking for anexperienced full-time Accountant.The daily duties and responsibilities include:Collate and review financial records to ensure accuracy and clear audit trails.Supporting the Financial Controller with various month end reporting duties when requiredPreparing financial statement and financial report for managementEnsuring compliance with accounting standards and legal requirementsManaging cash flows and investments and creating budgets and forecastsTracking payments to internal and external stakeholdersAudit financial transactions and documentsManage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.Education– Bachelor degree or higher qualification desirable.
Industry experience may substitute.Experience & SkillsAt least 2 years of relevant experience with completing tax returns; more complex company, trust,



partnerships; tax research and preparing of financial statement for all entity types; correspondence with ASIC and ATO.Demonstrated solid understanding of client file structuresDemonstrated understanding of asset protections conceptsDemonstrated time management completing engagements within timeframesStaying aware of current events and economic legislative and environmentsAbility to work largely independent and display role model behaviour for accountantsDemonstrated high level understanding of practice tax software, returns, file creations and matter creations and maintenance.Demonstrated working knowledge of basic concepts for GST, FBT and Stamp Duty.Salary- Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is $79,499 - $100,000 per annum
