MARK FOODS PTY LTD is seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our culinary team on a full-time basis in Chipping Norton, NSW ****.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Description:
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role, or readiness to step up and grow within a qualified kitchen environment.
Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality dishes consistently, meeting business standards for taste, presentation, and portion control.
Strong time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work collaboratively and support kitchen operations.
High level of resilience and adaptability, especially during busy service periods and changing operational demands.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic kitchen, with robust knowledge of food safety and workplace safety practices.
Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions accurately while maintaining consistency and quality.
Flexibility to work across varying shifts, weekends, and peak trading periods as required by the business.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to take direction, provide feedback, and work effectively with chefs, kitchen staff,



and management.
A professional, humble, and reliable approach, with a genuine passion for food and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a Cook in a professional kitchen environment
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification where applicable
Strong understanding of cooking techniques, knife skills and food preparation methods
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality standards
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods in a hot kitchen environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other departments
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results
Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
A passion for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction
Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality and culinary arts are desirable

MARK FOODS PTY LTD is committed to creating a supportive and rewarding workplace for all team members.
Company offer full-time contract onannual salary between $ 80,000 - $ 85,000 depending on skills and experience in addition, the compulsory super contribution as applicable.
