TWS Evolution is a respected, family-owned business specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure, including pump stations, pipelines and mechanical installations.
We deliver essential projects across the water, wastewater, mining and industrial sectors throughout regional NSW.
We are seeking a trade-qualified, hands-on Mechanical Services Technician who brings strong practical capability, disciplined work practices and the confidence to work independently on site.
Most projects involve working away from home Monday to Friday across regional NSW.
Accommodation and applicable living-away-from-home allowances are provided.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing pumps, motors and mechanical equipment
Fabricating and installing PVC, DICL, stainless-steel and HDPE pipework
Installing, maintaining and repairing valves and associated equipment
Assisting with commissioning water and wastewater infrastructure
Undertaking mechanical repairs and breakdown response
Supporting excavation, trenching, concrete and general civil works
Working alongside electrical, civil and subcontractor crews
Operating plant and equipment where appropriately licensed
Reading plans, drawings and technical specifications
Completing safety, quality and site documentation
Maintaining company vehicles, plant, tools and equipment
About you
A relevant trade qualification is essential.
We are open to candidates from a range of technical backgrounds, including:
Mechanical fitting
Plumbing
Boilermaking
Hydraulics
Plant and equipment
Electronics
Communications




Another relevant technical trade
Your formal trade training should be supported by sound work practices, practical problem-solving skills and a disciplined approach to safety, quality, documentation and equipment care.
Experience in water infrastructure is advantageous but not essential.
Candidates with transferable trade skills from industrial, mining, utilities, construction or maintenance environments are encouraged to apply.

Current driver's licence
Construction White Card
Australian working rights
Willingness and ability to work away Monday to Friday
Strong commitment to protected, high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
Desirable licences and experience
Water or wastewater infrastructure experience
HR driver's licence
Confined Space and Working at Heights
First Aid or Traffic Control
Plant operation tickets
Forklift or EWP licence
Dogging or Rigging qualifications
