Mumbrella is also the only trade title with a substantial paid membership tier.About the RoleMumbrella is seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Marketing Manager to join our marketing team.
This role is responsible for planning and executing integrated campaigns that drive audience acquisition, ticket sales and engagement.The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with events, commercial, editorial and design teams to deliver end-to-end campaigns that are engaging, data-driven and executed to a high standard.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be the engine room of the marketing team, driving revenue, audience and subscription growth, event attendance, and brand engagement.The ideal candidate is an exceptional project manager who thrives in a fast-paced setting, has strong copywriting skills and enjoys juggling multiple campaigns simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of B2B event productsDevelop integrated marketing campaigns across email, paid media, social media, web, content and partnershipsCreate campaign timelines and manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines are metPlay a leading role in the growth of Mumbrella's paid subscription product, Mumbrella ProWrite compelling marketing copy, including EDMs, website content, social posts,



digital advertising and promotional materialsDevelop audience engagement and communications strategies to maximise registrations and attendanceBrief and collaborate with designers to produce creative assets across digital channelsSchedule, optimise and report on paid campaigns across Meta, Google Ads and LinkedInBuild, segment and deploy email marketing campaigns, analysing performance to continuously improve resultsWork closely with the Commercial team to deliver sponsor marketing commitments and promotional opportunitiesPartner with the Events Operations team to ensure marketing activity aligns with event milestones and attendee communicationsCoordinate external suppliers, including media partners, agencies and freelancers where requiredMonitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting and insights using key marketing metricsOversee campaign budgets, invoicing, and financial reconciliationProactively monitoring spend to prevent overspend and continually optimising budget allocation to maximise campaign performanceIdentify opportunities to improve campaign performance through testing, optimisation and new marketing initiativesAssist in managing ajunior team member by providing guidance, ongoing support and quality assurance, allocation of workflow,and direction to ensure timely deliveryDevelop creative briefs and provide creative direction for photography and videography, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and marketing strategyMaintain brand consistency across all event communications and marketing collateralSkills & Experience5+ years' experience in a marketing role, ideally across events,



media or B2B marketingDemonstrated experience managing multiple integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through to executionExcellent copywriting and communication skills, with experience writing high-performing EDMs and digital contentStrong project management skills with exceptional attention to detailExperience managing email marketing platforms and CRM databasesHands-on experience running paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google Ads and LinkedInExperience briefing and managing creative production with designersStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance and make data-driven recommendationsHighly organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing prioritiesExperience using marketing automation, analytics and project management tools is highly regardedExperience marketing B2B conferences, exhibitions, awards or other live eventsExperience in the media, marketing, advertising or publishing industriesFamiliarity with CRM and email marketing platforms such as HubSpotExperience using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager and reporting dashboardsExperience managing marketing budgets and forecasting campaign spendExperience managing media partnerships, sponsors or strategic promotional partnersBasic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative SuiteA passion for the media, marketing and communications industries, with an interest in industry trends and emerging channelsExperience using AI tools to improve marketing efficiency, content creation and campaign optimisationWhy Join UsWork on high-profile events in one of the most dynamic industriesHybrid working model with a supportive and inclusive team cultureOpportunities for growth, learning, and attending industry-leading eventsAccess to some of the best minds in media, marketing, advertising and creativity
