This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, maintaining quality standards and ensuring the productive completion of custom-built products.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, a commitment to continuous improvement and a focus on safety, quality and team performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support production team members to achieve daily production targetsPlan and coordinate daily workflow, allocating tasks and resources effectivelyLead by example and foster a positive, high-performing team cultureMotivate,



mentor and develop team members to maximise productivity and engagementEnsure products meet quality standards and customer specificationsApply Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvementFlux, bake and solder radiator cores prior to despatch to ensure product integritySilver solder corners and seal header plates to specificationComplete core washing, preparation and finishing activitiesConduct testing of radiator cores to identify leaks and ensure quality complianceSafely operate lifting equipment, including chains, jigs and other handling devicesMaintain a clean and organised work area, completing required daily housekeeping checksAdhere to all workplace health and safety requirementsPerform additional duties as reasonably required by the businessAbout YouPrevious supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to lead, motivate and support a teamHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsA team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and adaptUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles (desirable)Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvementWhy Join RDM Group?
