Field Officer - Regeneration and Land ManagementHunter Land Management Pty Ltd – Maitland NSWHLM is seeking interest for Land Management Field Officer positions for suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic crew members or new starters to join our successful team for a business in the industry for over 26 years.
Work will include land regeneration management and vertebrate pest control contracting works andworking with other staff undertaking Field Officer roles.Hourly rate will be based on experience, qualification and skills.
Hourly rate paid from Depot to Depot each shift.Location is based in Maitland, Hunter Valley, NSW.
The position does involve travel and work in remote and/or rugged locations.The successful applicant will undertake the tasks associated with Land Regeneration and Vertebrate Pest Control including allocating general daily tasks to the crew (Snr), however be directed and report to the Operations Manager and Managing Director of the company.Scope of Tasks:Weed identification, management, monitoring and sprayingTree PlantingSeed CollectionEquipment Use and MaintenanceDaily activity reportingThis role is not limited to the above-mentioned tasks, this is a general overview of the minimum tasksperformed by the company.Demonstrate solid interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work individually, as well as part of a teamAbility to work unsupervised after initial directionCompetent use of electronic mobile devicesAbility to problem solve on the run and work with others to reach solutions.Position Requirements:Physical fitness is essential to perform tasks in remote and/or rugged locations.Read,



understand and comply with safety procedures (Company Policy & Procedures, Client Policy & Procedures,Job Safety Analysis and General Risk Assessments);Read, understand and report daily herbicide use;Competently complete pre-start checks and maintain vehicles, machinery and equipment;Wear PPE at all times when required;Successfully complete and maintain a Pre-placement Coal Services medical;Successfully complete and maintain Drug and Alcohol screeningsEntry Qualifications and ExperienceField Officer:Minimum 6 monthsexperience (unless demonstrated ability in lieu of formal experience)in regeneration, land management, agriculture or relevant industryDemonstrated, genuine interest in the industryManual Drivers LicenceGeneral Construction Induction Training – White CardNSW EPA Ground Applicators Licence4WD TrainingFirst Aid Certificate (Current)Chainsaw CertificateAQF3 / Chemical Users AccreditationSenior Experienced Field Officer:Minimum 3 years experience in regeneration, land management, agriculture or relevant industryCurrent Order ***** Coal Services Approved MedicalManual Drivers LicenceAQF3 / Chemical Users AccreditationNSW EPA Ground Applicators LicenceGeneral Construction Induction Training – White CardRelevant Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Agriculture and/or Land Management4WD TrainingFirst Aid Certificate (Current)Chainsaw CertificateApplications without minimum Entry Qualifications and Experience may not be considered.Due to the vast number of applications received, communication will be initiated to short listed applicants only.For further information please ******
