About the company/role:Our client is Australia's leading food coating manufacturer and provides a wide range of marinades, seasonings, batters, breadcrumbs and functional ingredients.
They are currently seeking a QC Officer to join their team in Western Sydney.
This role is a full-time, night shift (10pm-6am), casual, on-going role.Duties:Inspect incoming raw materials & batch of manufactured productAnalytical testing of samples & management of retention samplesEnsure highest levels of HACCP & GMP by monitoring manufacturingEnsure highest levels of hygiene by following & improving cleaning and sanitation programsCalibration of laboratory instruments daily & maintain cleanliness of the environmentSkills/experience:Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalentPrevious experience working in the food/ beverage industry is highly desirableAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood understanding of quality standards, HACCP and GMPExcellent attention to detail and solid communication skills
