About the Role This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced planner with demonstrated capability in managing large-scale Development Applications and Planning Proposals, leading teams and contributing at a strategic level.Working closely with the Planning Directors and executive team, you will have responsibility for major projects, mentoring staff, improving systems and contributing to business development and operational strategyKey ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage and deliver large-scale Development Applications and Planning ProposalsProvide detailed planning advice to clients, identifying project risks and opportunitiesPrepare and review complex planning reports, studies and submissionsLiaise with councils, panels and State and Federal government agenciesLead and mentor junior and contract staff and review technical outputsContribute to operational procedures, quality assurance and project methodologiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and support client growthAttend project, client, council and panel meetings and undertake site inspectionsManage project budgets and ensure performance targets are achievedAbout YouDegree-qualified in Town Planning,
