An experiencedProject Engineeris required to support the delivery of transport infrastructure recovery works under the Natural Disaster Program (NDP).
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will provide engineering, project delivery and contract administration support across a portfolio of recovery projects funded through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
This role will suit an engineer with experience delivering road, bridge or transport infrastructure projects who can work across contractor coordination, project controls, financial administration, scheduling and DRFA compliance requirements.
About the Role
You will support the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring project requirements, documentation, reporting and funding obligations are maintained.
The position combines office-based project coordination with site visits as required and requires strong stakeholder engagement and project administration skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in the delivery of Natural Disaster Program projects and contracts.
Monitor project scope, risks, schedules and delivery outcomes.
Undertake site visits and participate in contractor and stakeholder meetings.
Assist with preparation and administration of DRFA documentation and submissions.
Maintain project expenditure, budgets and forecasts.
Support contractor progress claims, financial reporting and monthly project administration activities.
Maintain project schedules and review contractor programs.
Assist with procurement, contract administration, variations and extensions of time.
Maintain project records, documentation, drawing registers and filing systems.
Support project close-out activities, including completion documentation and records.

About You
To be successful, you will have:
A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) accredited under the Washington Accord or recognised by Engineers Australia.
A minimum ofsix years' experiencedelivering transport infrastructure projects.
A minimum ofthree years' experiencedelivering projects under Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
Experience in project delivery, contract administration and contractor management.
Experience with project scheduling, cost control and project reporting.
Robust organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
A current Class C Driver Licence.
