We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Leisure and Lifestyle Assistants with a passion for working with the elderly to join our team working across both Hawthorn Village in Blackmans Bay and Snug Village in Snug.Christian Homes Tasmania Ltd. services and living the life they choose;Deliver exceptional Leisure and lifestyle programs while supporting independence and well-being;Implement and monitor individual and group activities, with ongoing consideration to resident choice;An ability to work within industry specific software to capture participation in the leisure and lifestyle program;Complete reporting and documentation based on CHT policies and procedures;Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and the accreditation process;Proven ability to work as part of a cohesive team;Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to deal with change;A high level of organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to multi-task;A commitment to quality continuous improvement;Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;A commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD):Essential requirements of the position are:Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is requiredAn approved NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or a willingness to undertake one.Valid Australian Work Entitlements.
