From hospitals and clinics to aged care and community programs, our technology empowers teams to deliver better care—wherever it's needed.Trusted across programs like ****RESPECT, the Leaving Violence Program, and the National Cancer Screening Register, we connect care in ways that truly make a difference.About the RoleAs a Data Engineer in our Data Team, you'll build and enhance scalable data solutions that power trusted data and digital health innovation.Working across Product, Engineering and Architecture, you'll develop end-to-end data solutions on our Snowflake platform and help grow Telstra Health's enterprise data platform.This role is ideal for a hands‐on engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and growing their expertise in Snowflake and up-to-date cloud data engineering.What You'll Be DoingBuild, maintain and enhance scalable data engineering solutions on SnowflakeDevelop reusable batch, streaming and near real-time data pipelinesSupport data integrations across cloud, SaaS, API and enterprise systemsDevelop data models supporting analytics, operational reporting and interoperabilityApply engineering practices across coding, testing, automation and CI/CDMonitor data pipelines and support platform performance, reliability and cost efficiencyEnsure solutions meet security, privacy, governance and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with Product,



Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutionsTroubleshoot data issues and contribute to continuous improvement across the platformAbout YouHands‐on experience building data solutions using Snowflake or a similar cloud data platformStrong SQL skills and experience developing data pipelines using PythonExperience with data engineering tools such as dbt, Snowpipe, Snowpark, Streams or TasksExperience integrating data across cloud platforms, APIs, SaaS products or enterprise systemsUnderstanding of data modelling, data quality, governance and security principlesExposure to CI/CD, automated testing and source control practicesPractical experience with AWS data services highly regardedHealthcare data experience, including FHIR or HL7, is advantageous but not essentialA collaborative mindset and a desire to continue growing your technical capabilityAbout UsFlexibility isn't a perk—it's how we work!
