With six offices nationally and partner firms in more than 145 markets, wherever you want to go, we can take you there.About this roleWe're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to play a key role in keeping our Cairns office running smoothly.With strong organisational skills and a motivated, 'can-do' attitude, you'll help to create an exceptional workplace experience for colleagues, clients and visitors alike.This is a maximum-term parental leave cover contract chance for 12 months, working 22.5 hours per week.Key responsibilitiesProvide a welcoming experience, greeting and serving refreshments for clients and visitorsMaintain office facilities, kitchens and common areas, ensuring they remain clean and tidyManage room set-up and pack-down before and after meetings and events, ensuring meeting rooms are ready for useManage daily meeting room and other bookings through Microsoft OutlookCoordinate catering for firm events, including ordering, logistics, set-up and serviceManage office supplies and stock levels, including ordering,
receiving and replenishing consumables as requiredAssist with incoming / outgoing mail and courier bookings as requiredAssist with office maintenance requests and maintenance schedulesProvide reception / telephone cover as required, including during periods of leave or absenceOther ad hoc duties such as data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as requiredFlexible to support varying operational requirements will be required, including occasional early morning, evening, and / or event-related activities (with prior notice.)Skills and experiencePrevious experience in hospitality, food and beverage, office services and / or administrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different stakeholders, levels and teamsAdaptable and flexible with strong organisational and problem-solving skills, including experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams, with the ability to work across multiple administration and customer relationship management (CRM) systemsIf you're interested in this role but don't feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.Remarkable perks that put you first:Diverse and inclusive firm cultureFully funded national gym membershipMental health support, financial and wellbeing coachingAnd many more!
