Full training is provided so, along with the above, all you need is the curiosity and motivation to learn the process of collecting blood and biological product.A day in the centre could see you:Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donateCreate a donor experience they'll love and want to come back Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin testsSet up machines and collections equipmentInsert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and plateletsMonitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next donationWork collaboratively to achieve collection targetsPlease note: This role requires travel to Donor Mobile Unit locations including: Ballina, Byron Bay, Casino and YambaTake our Virtual Tour to gain a better understanding of the role and work environment: Virtual-tour-recruitment-DSNANo previous blood collection experience is required.
