We are seeking a conveyancer or property lawyer to join our team on a permanent, full time basis.We are a highly regarded law firm in Wollongong, specialising in conveyancing and property law matters across NSW and ACT.Features of this position:Work with an excellent team of experiencedlawyers and licenced conveyancers.We operate with a collaborative, supportive, team-based culture.The conveyancing work will be varied and will include residential conveyancing, commercial conveyancing and leases, lease-hold properties, transfer of perpetual leases and water entitlements, Crown Land permits and licences.Key responsibilities:Day to day running of conveyancing filesReview contracts and prepare transparent,



technically sound advice for clientsPrepare contracts and legal correspondencePrepare and register legal documents including transfers and transmission applications using PEXA and NSW Land Registry ServicesManage settlements and complete transactions in PEXA, including handling payment arrangements and issuing settlement instructionsLiaise with a broad range of stakeholders including banks, financial institutions, private lenders, real estate agents, and caveators to ensure the timely progression and settlement of mattersProviding general administrative support, contributing to the efficiency of the team and assisting with ad hoc tasksProviding direct support to the Principal Solicitor and other senior staff as requiredWe're looking for a person with:Excellent communication skills with a focus on building strong client relationshipsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and a strong work ethicExperience with PEXAExperience in conducting ACT conveyancing matters will be highly regarded but not essential
