Business Development Manager – Commercial LPG
AAA Comet Gas is a family-owned LPG supplier servicing customers across Northern NSW and South East Queensland.
We're known for our reliable service, strong local reputation, and customer-first approach — and we're now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the next stage of our growth.
This is a full-time, field-based sales role focused on developing new commercial LPG opportunities across NSW, while also supporting selected account management responsibilities.
It's an ideal role for someone who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, working independently, and being part of a practical, down-to-earth business with strong growth plans.
About the Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new commercial LPG customers.
You'll work closely with management, operations and customer service to ensure current customers are onboarded smoothly and serviced reliably.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and securing new commercial LPG customers
Prospecting, cold calling and building new business opportunities
Managing a pipeline of prospective customers
Conducting customer meetings and site visits
Preparing proposals, quotes and commercial offers
Supporting the onboarding of new commercial accounts
Building strong long-term customer relationships
Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales activity reporting
Working closely with operations to ensure customer needs can be delivered safely and reliably
About You
We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, self-motivated,



and confident building relationships with business customers.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience in business development, field sales, account management or commercial sales
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence prospecting, cold calling and developing new opportunities
A practical, solution-focused approach to sales
Strong organisation and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
Professional presentation and a customer-first mindset
Experience in LPG, energy, transport, logistics, trade services or industrial/commercial supply would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right person.
