ACM Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for an 8-week locum assignment at Alice Springs Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity to build on your acute hospital pharmacy experience while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team in Central Australia.
The Opportunity
8-week locum assignment commencing on or around 27 July ****
$70–$85 per hour plus superannuation, depending on experience
Full-time hours
Return travel and accommodation provided in accordance with the assignment terms
Supportive acute hospital pharmacy team
Exposure to a diverse range of clinical presentations
The Role
You will provide clinical and operational pharmacy services across the hospital, including:
Ward-based clinical pharmacy
Medication reconciliation and medication reviews
Inpatient and discharge dispensing
Discharge medication management
Collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health teams
Supporting safe and effective medication use across the hospital
About You




To be considered, you will have:
Current general registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist
Previous hospital pharmacy experience, ideally within an acute setting
Experience in clinical pharmacy, dispensing and medication reconciliation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience using Merlin pharmacy software is desirable but not essential.
Pharmacists with experience using other hospital pharmacy systems who are confident learning a recent platform are encouraged to apply.
