Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain cross-platform applications using C++, Qt and QML, targeting Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS and Android with exposure to embedded systems.
Develop software in C++ and QML (primarily using the Qt framework) for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android.
Build web services and interfaces using REST and related technologies.
Apply object-oriented design, software modelling and architectural principles.
Integrate software with hardware, computing systems and embedded platforms.
Conduct software testing, debugging, optimisation and maintain version control and bug tracking systems.
Perform unit,
integration and system testing.
Produce release documentation and support handover to production.
Essential skills & experience required
Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience in modern C++
Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar discipline
Experience developing applications using the Qt Framework, Widgets and QML
Windows and macOS environments.
Working knowledge of Linux development
TCP/IP networking concepts
Experience developing multi-threaded applications
Strong capability in software architecture and design
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is essential.
