From feasibility studies and cost planning through to procurement, reporting, and contract administration, you'll help ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while maximising value for clients.This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who wants to broaden their experience on major projects, work closely with clients and stakeholders, and progress their career with a leading consultancy.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site measurement, take-offs, and pricing of construction projectsPrepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documentsLiaise with contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate pricingManage project costs and budgets,
including forecasting and analysisProvide cost advice and recommendations to the project team and clientsManage change orders and variations to the contractReview and negotiate contract terms and conditionsMonitor project progress and identify potential cost overruns or delaysProvide mentoring and guidance to junior team membersMaintain accurate project documentation, including measurement books and cost reportsContinuously develop technical knowledge and skills to stay up to date with industry trends and best practicesQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementExperience in a leadership role, managing a team and client relationshipsExperience working with and supporting operational executivesHighly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clientsExcellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and control multiple projects/client commissionsFull Australian working rights and currently located in AustraliaRICS / AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regardedProficient in the use of Cost XAbility to produce both top down and bottom up cost plansA thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception, through to completion and post-project reviewWhy join WT?
