In Home Care & Family Day Care CoordinatorPart-time (0.6 FTE | 3 days per week) | Hybrid Working Arrangement | Future Full-Time OpportunityJoin our growing In Home Care and Family Day Care team in a flexible Coordinator role supporting home-based educators across Queensland.Based from our Deagon office (116 Board Street, Deagon), this position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work from home between educator visits.
We are also open to exploring applications from experienced Coordinators located throughout Queensland.This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting educators, children and families in metropolitan, regional and remote communities, helping ensure all children have access to quality early learning opportunities regardless of where they live.Please note: A key requirement of this role is the willingness and ability to travel throughout regional and remote Queensland to support educators, conduct home visits and build strong community relationships.There is also potential for this role to increase to full time in the future for the right applicant.As part of Uniting Early Learning at The Uniting Church in Australia, QLD, you will join an experienced and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families across the state.About the RoleRecruit and onboard educators, ensuring compliance with ACECQA requirements.Monitor and support quality education and care through regular educator visits.Oversee implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place.Provide leadership, mentoring and professional development to educators.Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.Promote child safety and wellbeing, embedding best practice in everyday operations.Build strong and collaborative relationships with families,
educators and community stakeholders.About YouA Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.Completion of CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk.Experience in a leadership, mentoring, coordination or educational support role.Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and Education and Care Services National Regulations.Experience supporting educators to achieve quality outcomes for children and families.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.The ability to work independently, prioritise competing tasks and demonstrate initiative.Sound understanding of child protection legislation and responsibilities.Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
