You'll be exposed to disciplines such as structures, avionics, and mechanical systems, while contributing to engineering work that supports airworthiness, safety, and fleet capability.You'll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands‐on experience applying design engineering principles to real‐world Defence challenges.What you'll be doingAs a Graduate Design Engineer, you will:Support the design of aircraft repairs and modificationsAssist with developing technical data, engineering analyses, and compliance reportsHelp assess engineering issues, technical data, and occurrences in line with engineering and regulatory requirementsSupport the incorporation of engineering changes, including understanding impacts to configuration and riskContribute to engineering outputs that support continued aircraft operations, safety, and complianceSupport system safety activities,



identifying and communicating engineering risksWork closely with engineering leaders, maintenance teams, and operator representatives on technical mattersThis role provides an opportunity to build your capability, learn from experienced engineers, and develop confidence in a real Defence engineering environment.
This role is based in Brisbane.Eligibility requirements:We're seeking motivated early-career engineers who are eager to learn in a Defence aviation environment.
