Industrial Plastics is looking for a Junior Engineer – Technical Sales & Projects to join our growing team in Hemmant.This is an ideal opportunity for a recent engineering graduate, final-year engineering student, or early-career engineer who is technically minded, commercially switched on and confident communicating with people.You won't spend your first year sitting on the sidelines.You'll take ownership of smaller projects and customer enquiries, working with our experienced engineering, sales and production teams to develop solutions, prepare quotes, coordinate jobs and help deliver projects from enquiry through to completion.What you'll be doingYou'll gradually build your own portfolio of projects and customers, with support from experienced team members around you.Your role will include:Managing smaller engineering projects and customer enquiries from start to finishSpeaking directly with customers to understand their requirementsReviewing drawings, specifications and technical informationDeveloping practical engineered solutions with support from our teamPreparing quotations, estimates and proposalsFollowing up opportunities and building customer relationshipsCoordinating with engineering and production to get projects into manufactureTracking your projects through the workshop and helping resolve issues along the wayLearning our materials, manufacturing processes and product capabilitiesTaking increasing ownership of a product line or project category as your experience growsOne day you might be helping quote a fabricated component; the next, working through a customer's requirements with production and seeing the finished project being built metres away from your desk.Who we're looking forYou might be:A recent Mechanical, Chemical, Civil,
