With operations across Australia, they manufacture, supply, and install reinforcement products for some of the country's leading contractors and project teams.Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts Assistant to join their finance team and support the Finance Manager across a broad range of accounting and administrative functions.About the RoleThis is a hands-on role that will see you supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
You'll be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, reporting, and general finance administration while working closely with both the finance team and wider business.This opportunity is ideal for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to build your career within a growing construction business.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payments accurately and efficiently.Manage the full accounts payable function, including invoice verification, coding, and supplier statement reconciliations.Assist with accounts receivable, including customer invoicing,
payment allocations, and following up outstanding accounts.Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with month-end processes.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.Assist in preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and internal reporting.Support the Finance Manager with audits, compliance activities, and ad hoc finance tasks.Maintain supplier and customer records within the accounting system.Assist with payroll administration and employee finance-related queries as required.Work collaboratively with project, operations, and administration teams to ensure productive financial processes.About YouYou'll bring:At least 3 years' experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Officer, or similar finance role.Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a related industry (highly regarded).
